"I used to buy Cheryl's Cookies all the time, for myself, for work, for friends, for family, had boxes of them in my fridge. Now the shipping is outrageous (example $30 for one shipment, shipping is as high as the cost of the cookies)! The price of the cookies is also outrageous ($3 per cookie, for cookies that are now smaller than they used to be)! The website is not organized very well, needs search filters. Don't get same results each time you query. Highest priced items come up first. Nothing is priced low enough to be able to afford. I shopped for hours, for days, finally got one result that I could afford to buy and ship. I went back to reorder the same thing for other family members, and got an error, that the product was no longer available, also the only products available were full price, no deals. Extremely disappointed in what used to be a good company and good product. Also, the delivery on the one box I ordered was delayed two or three days, for no reason, so family will receive them late. Summary, overpriced product, overpriced shipping, poorly designed website, smaller cookies, shipping problems."

Favorite Christmas/Holiday Cookie I was reading the barter thread and Joyful mentioned her love of Christmas Cookies. Wondering what everyone’s favorite cookies are, and do you bake them yourself or buy them. I’m not a great baker so I tend to go for the simple recipes. Working, caring for and schooling children, food shopping, cooking, cleaning the house, washing clothes, and other responsibilities may keep some folks from the Joy of baking cookies not only at Christmas but at any other time of the year. As others have mentioned Giancarlo's in Ledgwood on Rt. 10 has an excellent bakery with great cookies.

Hist Soc has rummage sale items and the best Moravian cookies so long as the long standing lady that does this can that year. The school always has a brass band and the kids sell food. The Fire House has chili and assorted baked goods besides the regular vendors, plus Girl Scouts selling cider and donuts most years.
