I recently upgraded my X9 Endnote version to 2025. (OS: MS 2010 Home, Office 2010). When you import from Pubmed, Endnote captures the PMID in the field “Accession Number” – while you can edit the field type of journal reftype to reflect that (edit preferences, modify reftype) – it can mess up things, you will need to edit the output styles too, and it has to be tranferred from computer to computer.
EndNote user since DOS version (362 kB floppy disk), but – for how much longer? (AI summary for single PDFs - gimme a break, read the abstract) Might add (Window$ here): why has the option to specify lowercase/upper case in the Search fields been removed (eg for names/acronyms)? And why no longer one-click marking Latin to Greek letters?
Hello, i am using endnote 21 for Harvard Hull formatting. For some reason my accessed date is playing up. On one of my bibliography pages the ref after a web page link just says “Accessed” and then no date. Even though the date is in the endnote library? Also the accessed date half shows up as part of the journal title. What is going on?

Thank you for your help with this.

I love using Google Scholar to export references into my Endnote library, but it is tedious to fill out all the fields when I need to include a website as a reference. Is there a plugin or something similar that can export the website information into Endnote? Thanks.
One of our students is applying for funds for a PhD and as part of her application she has included scientific pictures. The problem is that she wants to have EndNote citations in the captions and others in Word textboxes but EndNote is making its numbering of citations a priority in these boxes. It does not matter where the boxes are located the citation is always out of sequence with the ...
Yet another update to Endnote that cannot be installed, neither from within the app, nor manually the downloaded installer app. This is getting ridiculous.
