"Bought a washer and dryer this past summer. When they were installed, the cold water shutoff valve was leaking after the install. I tried to call the store to get help, but after multiple calls, I was only able to speak with an overseas customer rep. I spoke with 2, both were very difficult to understand, and were not able to help getting anyone out to my house to look at the problem. I went to the store where I was able to speak with the sales person I had worked with when purchasing, but he was only able to tell me someone would call the next day. Was never able to speak with a manager, but was given a manager's card. Meanwhile, I've got a leaking shutoff valve. After going home from the store, I had to move the dryer to close the shutoff valve. When moving the dryer, the dryer venting fell off where it connected to the vent leading out of the house. There was no clamp or tape utilized to connect it. The following day, someone did call, I told them about the dryer vent failure, along with the leaking shutoff valve. The only thing they offered was to have the same installers come out to look at it. Why would I have the same installers come out that did a very poor job the first time? I ended up fixing the vent and shutoff valve myself. What would someone do if they did not know how to repair it on their own? Best Buy doesn't seem to be able to provide quality installers. I did email the store manager, as they did not return my calls, about my experience. I never received an email reply. I will not shop at or recommend Best Buy in the future."

"Was at Best Buy Was trying to set up an appointment at The geek squad counter in Strongsville Ohio. There was one person in front of me so I waited. They were looking through many note cards to find what they needed. This went on for about 25 minutes or more and was not handled well at all. I ended up leaving as did the people behind me. Obviously they should have told the person to find what they need and come back to the counter. I'll get the work. I needed done locally with better service."

"Very Disappointing Experience\n\nMy wife and I bought a Samsung Frame TV at Best Buy Middletown, NY, and asked for professional installation. The Geek Squad installer made holes in our wall, couldn't finish the job, and blamed the TV. The assistant manager promised to fix the damage and remove the installation charge, but corporate later contradicted everything. Another salesperson later admitted we should never have been sold that model since it wouldn't mount flush to the wall -- which was the only reason we bought it. Poor communication and zero accountability."

New car doesn't recognize old ipod | MacRumors Forums
Just bought a new car (2017), plugged in my 80 GB gen4 iPod classic via USB port but the car never recognizes it (but it charges it!). My wife's car (2013) does the same thing. The car I just sold (2009) always worked great but now I find myself with a hard drive of all my tunes that will not...

Happy 24th Anniversary, iPod - MacRumors Forums
The first-generation iPod came out on November 10, 2001, making today the 24th anniversary of the device's launch. Apple announced it in late October, but November 10 was the first day customers were able to get their hands on it. Even way back in 2001, there were leaks and fake leaks before...

IPOD Classic 7th Gen SD/SSD | MacRumors Forums
I have a 7th Gen iPod Classic, perfect condition and barely used but the hard drive is bad. I am thinking of upgrading to an SD or SSD to replace the HDD in it. While this is a 160GB, is there a size limitation if I go with an SD Card? Is it a simple swap, plug and play type deal? While the...

iPod 4th Generation could not be restored | MacRumors Forums
The 'new' iPod came with a USB A to 3.5mm jack so I've tried that one as well as the one I've been using to charge my current iPod. It was connected to either the Air or Lenovo for a several hours over a few days as I tried to sort this out. Still flashing orange at this point. Will plug it in again. One post said to try connecting directly to ...

As some of you certainly know, since macOS Sequoia 15.4.1, we lost official support for our beloved iPod classics Yesterday I got lucky while brute-forcing my way to access the files without the use of a Windows VM or restore the iPod and found out that I could use it just like before updating...
