Former Delhi Minister and AAP leader Kailash Gahlot joined the BJP on Monday, a day after he resigned from AAP citing recent controversies facing the party and unfulfilled promises made to people. Gahlot joined the party in the presence of Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and other BJP leaders in Delhi.

Former Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Kailash Gahlot, who tendered his resignation from the primary membership of the party, today joined the BJP in the presence of Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva.

Kailash Gahlot, who held the position of a transport minister in the Delhi government joined the BJP on Monday, a day after he parted ways from the AAP.

He joined the BJP at its headquarters in the presence of Union ministers Manohar Lal Khattar and Harsh Malhotra, Delhi unit president Virendra Sachdeva and national media head Anil Baluni among others.

Kailash Gahlot, former Delhi minister and senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday, a day after quitting Arvind Kejriwal-led party.

Kailash Gahlot, a prominent Jat leader in the party, also took a jab at Arvind Kejriwal in his resignation as he flagged some "embarrassing" controversies.
