At the time, the fast-food giant's corporate team wanted to speed up back-of-house operations and felt that the time it took employees to assemble the chicken, lettuce, shredded cheddar and Monterrey cheese and choice of customer sauce in a tortilla wrap could be better redirected to a simpler menu of classics.

After nearly a decade without the Snack Wrap, McDonald’s has heard the public’s pleas and has now delivered.
