Dramatic video shows 'catastrophic' UPS plane disaster that left at least 7 dead, 11 injured
Video shows a massive fireball and smoke after UPS Flight 2976 crashed into a Kentucky Petroleum Recycling building during takeoff at the Louisville airport.
The left engine of a UPS plane caught fire during takeoff and immediately detached, officials in Kentucky said Wednesday, leading to the horrific crash and deaths of at least 11 people
“Autonomous flight is no longer a distant dream — it’s a fast-approaching reality,” according to Boston Brand Research & Media. “With technology advancing rapidly, pilotless planes could one day become as commonplace as automated metros or self-parking cars.”
Video of the deadly Louisville, Kentucky, crash showed flames on one of the plane's wings and a huge fireball erupting as the aircraft hit the ground.
Four people on the ground were killed and the three people who were onboard the flight are presumed dead, local officials said.
