Biden becomes first sitting US president to visit Amazon rainforest
US President Joe Biden has visited the Amazon rainforest ahead of the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The White House says Biden's visit to the Amazon on Sunday is the first by a sitting US president. He observed the Amazon from above in a helicopter and was briefed on how the rainforest has been impacted by climate change.
