WGAL Lancaster-Harrisburg on MSNPennsylvania State Police respond to barn fire in LancasterThe Quarryville Fire Company and the Pennsylvania State Police are responding to a barn fire on the first block of Academy Road in Colerain Township.
The Lancaster Patrol Unit and Criminal Investigation Unit are currently on scene investigating, Pennsylvania State Police said in a release. The scene is secured, and no one was injured in this incident, according to state troopers. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lancaster Station at 717-299-7650.
Capt. Dale Brown, 49, began work Feb. 1 as commander of state police Troop E, the Lawrence Park Township-based troop that covers Erie, Crawford, Venango and Warren counties. Brown fills a position vacated by the retirement at the end of January of Capt. Kirk Reese, who served as Troop E commander since August 2019.
